the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation; Childrens Palace Baia Mare and the National Childrens Palace, Bucharest.

External Affairs, The Union of Romanian Composers and Musicologists, Sind
Romania, The Ministry of Culture and Cults, The Golden Dolphin Association, the
Local Council and the Town Hall of Baia Mare, Maramures Countys Council, the Local Council and the Town
Hall of Navodari.

from the counties the participants come from, on the basis of a written media
agreement signed until the 1st of May 2010 ( I shall attach a media

1. A brief description of the project
The VIIIth edition of the International Youth Festival of
Pop-Rock Music, The Golden Dolphin, will take place on The Dolphin Summer
Theatres stage, in The Sind Camp Romania Navodari, between the 1st and the 4th of July 2010.
There will be 50 singers from Romania and Europe, and 150
children in the choreographic groups, vocal and accompany groups, recitals and
connected activities.
Soloists will be accompanied by recorded negatives on CD
or DAT on age categories as it follows:
-
10 kindergarden soloists :
5 Romanians + 5 foreigners
-
15 soloists from the Ist to the IVth grade:
10 Romanians +5 foreigners
-
15 soloists from the Vth to
the VIIIth grade:10 Romanians +5 foreigners
-
10 soloists from the IXth
to the XIIth grade:5 Romanians + 5 foreigners
Each category
will receive the Ist, the IInd, the IIIrd prize and 1
special mention.
The one
getting the maximum grade/points, regardless the category will be offered the
Festivals Trophy.
The soloists
preselection will be made during the Golden Little
Bear Festival for the Romanian interprets and on the basis of a CD and a DVD
for the foreign ones.
The 30
Romanian participants passing the final preselection
during the Golden Little Bear Festival, will send the positive and the negative
containing the song chosen by the jury, with a length of at maximum 3 minutes
and 30 seconds, but also the written agreement of the composer and the text
writers that they agree to the songs broadcast during the festival, without
any material requirements or pretentions.
The decisions
will be posted on our site www.pcbm.ro on the 18th
of May 2010.
The deadline
to receive the negatives, the texts and the written agreements mentioned above
is the 20th of May 2010 in order to make possible the editing of the
CDs and the band with the negatives of the songs participating in the festival.

first audition songs will participate directly in the creation section;

the music and the text must be appropriate to the
participants age;

3 prizes will be offered for the composition.

The
total amount of the prizes offered to the winners will be established by the
organizers taking into account the budget realized through the funds obtained
from the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation, sponsors and partners.
Prizes
will consist of: diplomas for the participants, for the winners, excellence
diplomas, money, golden dolphins, cups and different objects.
4. Further Information for the Foreign Participants:
The preselection for The Golden Dolphin will be made on the
basis of 2 positive CDs containing 2 songs that must be sent by post or e-mail until the 1 th

Transportation
for all participants will be paid by themselves. Arrival to Constanta or Bucharest by plane/ by
train.
Accommodation
and meals for the participant and one attendant are provided by the organizers
at the price of 30 EURO/day/person at the Dolphin Hotel in Navodari.
Each
participant will send us:

The entry form filled in;
-
A CD containing 2-3 songs (at least 1 in English) ,
with the name of the composer/text writer ( in case of a first audition, please
mention it) ;

A DVD containing images from
spectacles/recitals/festivals in order to help us evaluate the interpretation
and his/her performing on stage.
-
2 color photos (1 of them bust).
